The next day we arrived in the capital around noon and we were able to take a cheap multicab to Malate, where we still had to walk for 10 minutes before getting to JOWARDS PENSION.
After settling in we went for travelinformation as it was required from the Belgian Embassy to show a reservation of a round trip. We were lucky from the first one, where they told us there was a very good deal going on with Singapore Airlines
(see link down), and the price they had would save me 500USD comparing with the price I got 2 months ago.
It was getting late after and so we went to ROBINSON shoppingmall for a walk until dinnertime.

The next day, the 4th of March, besides the fact that I was born on this day many years ago, became the most tiring day of the week.
We got up early and started our way to Makati-city, after breakfast, to get direct information from the embassy. Once we finally arrived there around 10am, it only took 15 minutes to get what they could give us :
the applicationform in triple and a list with the automatic phonenumbers to call at to make an appointment.
Once we were back in Malate, we went to have a coffee while Nery filled in the papers. After we went to make the passportphotos that were required for the forms.
In the end we went to buy a phonecard and tried to make an appointment...but we couldn't get through.
We went back to the travelagency 'MR TRAVEL SERVICES,INC.'  (see link down) to speak to Jane, who was a great help the day before. She told us that it was better to phone from a central, than with a payphone and she gave us instructions to get to the nearest one in Pasay-city. Of course we had to take the jeepney in the wrong direction at first so it took us longer to go all the way back, but in the end we found it and Nery went to make the phonecall, while I waited outside with a headache coming up.
After half an hour, she came back telling me that her appointment would be for the 19th of March - in 2 weeks - and as we wanted to leave on the 14th of
April, and it could take more than 3 weeks before anything happened, I knew this was not a good thing.
There was a number on the list, where you could only fax, for emergency appointments and I decided to give it a go, but as I still had that headache, and it was getting late, I was gonna leave it for the next day.
